AppyDays [for Mac & iPad etc] should all have filter optin by store star rating and maybe even discount percentage. For instance then you could see all Apps that are 4star or greater and 50 or more % discounted.

    Hi,

please set the Autosave Name for the main window in the Interface Builder, so that the position of the window is remembered between launches,

    Thnks!

  • slappstick

    Thanks for your suggestions!

Berle, we will add this in our next update.

    Cheers,

Would prefer to see my native currency instead of US dollars, but other than that a very useful little app.

  • Cwinten

A nice app that allowed me to discover great deals. But like peter01242 says, it is a shame to have US dollar. In fact, as soon as you run the app in english, you get USD. When you choose German language, then you get EUR. I would advise to add currency menu choice within AppyDays OR base currency display on MAC OS X “Preferences”.

  • Lore Sladek

    Hi,

since today my loved AppyDays can’t be opened any more. What’s wrong? Can you help me?

    Thanks.

appydays always crash down unexpected when stating up..try to solve this issue..

  • Mark

I’m curious how Appydays figures out discounted apps. I discounted my universal app, “IPCodes” and it was never shown in Appydays…

    Blacklist for Apps Please!

I have version 1.5 loaded on my MacBookPro under MOSX.SnowLeopard and I’m getting an error message that a string is missing that is causing a crash.
    How can I reinstall it?
I also would like to be a tester of version 2.0.

    Contact me at yourmacfriend@me.com

  • http://www.facebook.com/gilbert.heroux Gilbert J Heroux

Version 1.4 worked fine, but version 1.5 crashes.

  • Kevin Trumbull

Appy Days is great. I use it daily.

    I’m running 1.5, build 1555 on MacOS X 10.6.8.

There are two additional features that would make it wonderful:
    1) The ability to blacklist _developers_. All 5 of the free apps on the Mac App Store today are by Mintmomeg. I’ve tested a few of their apps, and they were terrible. I don’t want to see their stuff anymore.
    2) The ability to specify which languages you understand. Recently there has been a flood of Chinese apps. I don’t understand Chinese and would prefer not to see apps written in languages I cannot read/understand. I’d imagine that this feature would be even more important for those people who don’t speak English!

I’d also be interested in testing version 2.0.

  • Rafi

Nice app, but you should allow user to select store/currency, not just USD/EUR.
    Thanks

  • Thomas

I can not open the new version 2.0 …

How does your mac app store search work? Today (05/23/2012) there’s a huge price discount for forklift 2 and appy days didn’t show it. Mentioned it only by the app store rank.

  • Gergenrobert

old version worked fine but new 2 wont show me apps just says how many it found but no info or data

  • Livingcrayon

does not work anymore – WHY?
growl tells me AppyDays found 1358 apps and AppyDays itself says it can find nothing..

    thats really frustrating ;-) :-(

  • Teste

Nice new interface but missing discounts like Coda2 by Panic. It’s so obvious that it hurts!

  • Someone

    New version didn’t start on 10.7.4 :(

  • Sven

Super App – Ideal wäre es wenn man auch noch die Sprache der Apps auswählen kann, da Apple hier keine Möglichkeit hat dies im App-Store einzustellen.

  • Dominicorologio

you guys did an amazing job now it’s exactly what I wanted, a turd. no less then a turd. a turd i can at least use to grow shit to eat in a garden or somthin, like fertilizer shit. this is just bum on the street shit. the most basic and useful function was click bam apple store. i have almost broke my Cintiq banging on the app trying to get the fucker to launch app store. not only do i want my money back, i want my ass u raped.

The application has gained in appearance, but as for me, lost in the possibilities. One of the reasons for your, and no other application was that I could hide it in the top bar and does not take me places in the Dock, where I like to have order (apps that I use at the moment). Even fewer use your app because I am angry, and as things go on like this it will meet the fate of the others, who said it was better to push in to the dock than the top bar. Additionally, for the moment I have no further comment. The application is nice.

  • stew264

Just letting you know, you need to fix the link to your Web Site in the App Store; it is set to http://localhost/ which of course, is not your web site. Thanks!

  • Jeffrey

Great app for finding apps for the mac BUT not for the iPad. If I filter for iPad I get a lot of apps that are only for iPhone (and scaled up for iPad). I don’t want to see these. Pleas add a feature that filters all iPhone apps that are not Universal.

  • rob

I really like the idea of this app. I have an idea for a key feature that could take it to another level. I would love to contact you about this but was unable to find any contact information.

  • Anonymous

My comment is similar to Jeffrey. Searching for iPhone Apps will include iPad Apps even though I have the “iPhone” button pushed in the sidebar.

Luckily I checked the compatibility requirements before hitting the buy button. Now I make sure I check that on every App I look at, but it would be nice if that wasn’t necessary.

  • Mholznagel

Great app. Definitely. I use it almost every day. The more I miss it today: It doesn’t work at all. It start but does not show any app. The Apple App Store is on and working.

    MacBook Air, SnowLeopard.

  • Guest

Actual version has been working only a couple of weeks, since has been impossible to start again the app, it always crash on starting up (MacOS X 10.8.2)

  • Sergi

Hi, I’ve jast updated an Appydays on my Mac and it stopped working. Can I fix it in some way, please?

    Thank you

  • Paul

How to revert back to a version earlier than 2.0.2?

  • a3

Great application. Using it every day. Installing discounted to free apps which i might not use currently but might be useful for me sometime in the future. Deinstalling these apps with AppDelete directly after installation, im always able to reinstall them through the AppStore.

Would be nice to be able to add an app to a list and be notified about a discount as soon as it happens.

I’d like to find the best apps (highest rated, most downloads), discounted or not. Would that be possible?
