We have improved the menu bar mode by tweaking stuff and hiding the dock icon. Totally new is the “popular” option, which only displays apps, which have had a certain amount of downloads in the App Store, so possibly uninteresting apps get filtered out for you automatically. Especially with the huge amount of price drops in the iOS App Store this makes a very helpful feature in finding the good stuff.
